Outdoor adventure at Sope Creek Trail

Part of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, Sope Creek Trail is a one-mile out-and-back adventure at Sope Creek Park in Marietta. The trail along the eastern side of the park takes you through a canopy of trees and Civil-War-era paper mill ruins on the shores of the flowing Sope Creek. This trail's moderate elevation changes, scenic beauty, and cool factor make it a popular Atlanta-area trail for running, hiking, and biking.
